The fourth column is the one most people skip. Because the match percentage falls from stage to stage, the deposit needed to fill each ceiling rises: A$1,000 fills the first, but filling the fourth at 25% would take A$10,000. Reaching the full A$8,000 means depositing A$17,000 in total. Almost nobody should plan around that figure. Read the ceilings as limits, not targets, and let your own budget decide the size of each deposit.
40× explained with real numbers
Bonus funds become withdrawable once you have staked 40 times the bonus amount. The deposit itself is not part of that multiplier. Take the most common case: you deposit A$100 for your first stage. The 150% match adds A$150 in bonus funds, so your balance shows A$250, and the wagering target is 40 × A$150, which is A$6,000 in qualifying bets, to be completed within seven days.
On pokies that count in full, A$6,000 is 6,000 spins at A$1 or 3,000 spins at A$2. Spread across seven days, A$1 spins work out at roughly 857 a day, which is a lot of play for most people. Because no single stake may exceed A$8 while the bonus is active, the fastest possible route is 750 spins at the cap. Neither number is a reason to avoid the offer; they are a reason to size your first deposit to the time you actually have.

A quick worked example for Tuesday: deposit A$100 with the Lucky 7s code and 77% adds A$77, which is exactly the cap, so A$100 is the most useful deposit size for that offer. Under the default 40× rule, A$77 needs A$3,080 in qualifying wagering within seven days. Deposit A$50 instead and you receive A$38.50, with a wagering target of A$1,540.

The short version of three common questions

Reading the four-stage table
The first stage is where a modest deposit goes furthest: A$200 there earns six times the bonus that the same A$200 earns at stage four. The flip side is that the playthrough scales with the bonus, so the stage that pays most also asks most of your week. Stage four, by contrast, adds only a small match, but its batch of 200 spins equals the first stage's, and the wagering on the bonus itself is light.
Two caps are worth holding in mind once a run goes well. Winnings from a deposit bonus can be cashed out up to A$5,000 per offer, and winnings from the welcome spins up to A$300. Neither cap affects a typical session, but both decide the ceiling on a lucky one.
